판소리의 성음과 시김새를 중심에 두고, 드럼과 베이스의 리드미컬한 에너지, 건반의 서정적 텍스처를 결합한다. 이를 통해 전통의 깊이와 밴드 사운드의 밀도를 동시에 구현하며, 한국적 발성을 기반으로 한 새로운 사운드를 만들어간다.
정강이는 지금 이 시대의 감각을 소리로 번역하며, 관객과의 깊은 공명으로 연결된다.

For JKL, tradition is not something to be preserved — it is a living, present-tense sensibility, endlessly reimagined and expanded. They reinterpret the layered textures of sound accumulated through time with the breath of today, weaving tradition and modernity into a single, unbroken current. Rooted in the vocal depth and ornamental nuance of pansori, they integrate the rhythmic drive of drums and bass with the lyrical textures of keyboards — embodying both the weight of tradition and the density of a contemporary band sound. The result is a new sonic spectrum grounded in the Korean vocal tradition. JKL translates the sensibility of this era into sound, creating moments of deep resonance with their audience.
